                                       Words from Marvin Brigman, President:

                                    " A Transformed America"

When Barrack O'Bama was elected he committed to transforming America. In his first term as our President he initiated several transformational measures and continues to pursue his agenda in his second term. Transformation of a body is not necessarily bad for the body if the changes are constructive. Unfortunately what has occurred under Barrack are counter productive transformational measures. Now, I must state here that my assessment of his changes as counter productive is not shared by everyone. Liberals, socialists, secularists, etc find great joy in the changes that are now taking place. I speak from the perspective of a free man wanting to retain his freedom.

A lot of attention was given the past few weeks to the Government shutdown and the pending debt ceiling crisis. Both of these were simply theater cloaking the underlying issue of our Government's inability to deal with our massive debt and the resultant damage it will do to our country. When the United States finally hits the wall when we can no longer borrow and cannot pay our nation's bills the country will truly be transformed. Transformed into a weak, third world nation which is broke while experiencing hyper inflation. Our country will cease to exist as we have known it.

Most troubling about Barrack is that he seems to have no respect for the working people of America. His socialist ideology trumps every decision he makes. We have had to endure socialists before but this one is different. He is a troubled man. He seems to have an inner conflict where he is always at war no matter what the issue is. His personal troubles lead to awesomely bad decisions in appointments, legislation and executive decrees.

Not so obvious are the changes that he has instituted in his transformational process. He is moving the nation away from one based on Judeo/Christian values to one of secular values. One might ask if values don't come from our religious history where do they come from? Well, the secularist simply make them up and that's what Barrack and his buddies are doing. He has redefined marriage, he has redefined the composition of the military, he dismisses the constitution, he selects the laws that he wants to enforce and ignores those he doesn't like, he tolerates racial discrimination, he is replacing self sufficiency with Government dependency and he has replaced civil conduct with civil disobedience. He has placed us on the road to accept tyrany.

What can be done about our current situation? Not much unless we take back the voice of Government and that is done through the ballot box. That is why you are a member of this club and the Republican Party; to foster good Government. We must remain united and communicate the convincing message of traditional conservatism and how it benefits the country. History is on our side. We have proven successes and the liberals have nothing but proven failures. We have to calmly and assertively communicate the message.

What is the message? Quite simply it is this; people are good and can take care of themselves given the opportunity to do so. We stand for the same things the founding fathers wrote into the constitution. We stand for the same things that Martin Luther King marched for. Equal treatment under the law. Freedoms to build for our families without Government interference, freedom to speak our mind and practice our faith.

Let's not reduce ourselves to name calling or mud slinging. Let's not angrily condemn those who differ with us. Let's calmly use facts and logic as our persuasion tactics. And always keep the goal in mind. Good Government begins with the next election.
